not all of us, but a significant number, love big homes. why is that? more to clean, more grass to cut, logically more parts that will require repair. i suppose to some degree it's a status symbol. we like spacious room versus claustrophobic size rooms. if the average canadian is like me, we sleep in our bedroom, use our bathroom, kitchen, and lastly what can be called the tv room, family room, the great room.
if we did a calculation of percentage of time spent where, on an average week or keep it simple an average day, i think we would uncover some interesting facts. i spend 1-2 hours in my car, 8-10 hours at work, 1 hour in the kitchen, 1 hour in the bathroom more like 30 minutes, 8 hours in my bedroom and let's say 2-3 hours outside. that's pretty close to 24 hours. based on your interests, you might want a big house, big yard, big kitchen.
